Dearly Beloved:

MAY GOD BLESS AND KEEP YOU AND YOUR FAMILY IN PEACE AND REST IN HIM.

I wish to thank our many friends who have written to us in recent weeks with wonderful words of encouragement. Gwen and I have been greatly blessed and humbled while reading so many kind and uplifting letters. We read every one of them.

Three people wrote, saying, "I quit writing to your ministry and I stopped supporting you because I have never received a personal letter." One person said, "Some of the best-known evangelists in the world write back personally." These people do not realize those are form letters sent by associates. No minister with a national mailing list could possibly answer all mail personally. We do try to answer all critical letters and those who have specific questions about the ministry.

Time and again we read, "I doubt you will read this personally, but here goes anyway..." We smile and say, "if they only knew." Gwen tries to shield me from the very critical letters, especially when I am under spiritual attack from Satan. But the majority of letters we receive are glorifying to the Lord and edifying to us. Thanks to all who write. You have made us know we are having an impact and are not ministering in vain.

It gladdens our hearts to read, "Your message came just in time. It was just the word I needed for that day." Others tell us, "Your messages always confirms what God is saying to me and doing in my life."

The enclosed message is of great importance. A pastor friend of mine just contacted me and said, "You will never know how timely this message is for me. I've been deeply wounded by some in our church who have set themselves against me. God convicted me. Loving my enemies is vital - it is commanded. Thanks for the truth." I believe many are going to hear directly from God's throne as they read "The Importance of Loving Your Enemies."

A last word: More and more believers are beginning to understand the worldwide scope of this ministry. We have been ministering to addicts, alcoholics, the homeless, widows, hungry children - both here in New York City and around the world.

Your one gift each month is reaching all over the world. A tithe of every dollar you send is shared with world aid projects - mostly feeding starving children in Latin American slums, war-torn Bosnia, stormravaged- Mozambique and other needy areas. With your single gift, you are giving to over twenty-five charitable outreaches in New York and around the world. And every dollar is handled only by ministries who are accountable.

Thank you for your prayers. And thank you for regular monthly support for all of these needs. We are blessed.

His bondservant,
David Wilkerson
