This was an excellent sermon. I formerly went to a "church" where they have "done away with the cross". There reasoning was that "Sunday is a day of celebration" and "to focus on the goodness and grace of God". The problem is my parents, who are not saved, attend this church and "feel good" after hearing their messages. It grieves my heart. These indeed are the last days. I praise God that 'He will lead His people into all truth". I encourage all if you attend a church where they 'scratch itching ears' to leave. Pray for God's direction but do not sit under such ministry too long. You may begin to compromise truth too. Proverbs 29:25 says "the fear of man bringeth a snare". Keep David Wilkerson in prayer because he (through Christ) has ministered to many in exposing Satans deception and "messengers of light".

Subject: Power of the Cross of Christ

It is my objective to spend a minimum of 1 hour a day studying the life of Christ, especially the closing scenes of His life on earth. Experientially, I have learned that I am like Paul in Romans 7. Even though I have a lot of Bible knowledge, I still have a nature that is prone to sin, and my only hope is to daily die to self and accept His life to empower me. Please pray for me, that I can help my relatives and those I work with experience the joy I have found in Christ.

In Christ Jesus,
